Walking along the river.

Walking along the river in Phnom Penh is a big fun. Last weekend, I had my first walk there with mama and papa, and got so excited - so many people, including little kids like me, enjoy their weekend there. I saw tens of small shops selling mangoes and food I have never seen in my life.

And look at this beautiful boat! I saw kids having a party on the boat, singing and dancing... mama, I would like to have a party like that on my next birthday!

Bon odori

Both my mama's and papa's countries have a day, or days, to remember your great, great grand mothers and fathers who are not on this planet any more.

Here in Cambodia, they have the same custom and apparently it is a very important period of the year.

Mama and papa took me to this cheerful 'Bon odori' or 'Bon dancing' festival which was organized by many Japanese people living in this country. Papa says that 'Bon odori' is a popular custom in his country, during the days to remember one's ancestors.

While it is purely a custom of papa's country, I saw many Cambodian people and other foreigners enjoying the dancing too, and it was very beautiful! I have already put 'Bon odori' on my list of things what I want to do when I will be big enough!

My first marketing

Here I am, with my mama to be visiting the nearby local market to get some fresh veges and fruits.

It is soooo interesting to see so many kinds of colorful veges and fruits - they all look tasty... mama, is my lunch ready yet!?

Who is to be blamed?

OK, I know, it's been more than half a year since my last post - and you wonder who is to be blamed.

Not me, obviously. Yes, I admit that I have started remembering some words, but you won't expect me to be writing this blog by myself, will you?

Let's not name the one to be blamed. I am just happy that here I am again, with lots of news - and I mean it. I am too sleepy to tell you everything today, and I am sure that I will be properly updating you shortly... perhaps the biggest news is that I have managed to complete my first big, inter-continental trip last week, starting from Zagreb, Croatia, to be ending up in Phnom Penh, Cambodia!

Here's my first photo in this tropical country, in front of the airport - how exciting!
